Number 3 (a tough 330 yd., par 3, dog-leg right. It's the #1 handicap hole)

Number 7 (A long 480 yd., par 5, with lots of flooded rough to hit over and water all along the right side of the fairway, up to the green. It's the #3 handicap hole)

Number 7 Green (An elevated green with lots of bunkers guarding the right side)

Number 7 Fairway (A view of the left side fairway bunker which comes into play as this is the prefered side to approach the green)

Number 1 (305 yd., par 4, with a pretty open fairway. Here is a view over the left side green bunker with another on the right side. No water on this hole)

Number 1 (A view of the wide fairway. A nice starting hole)

Number 7 (In the fairway looking back to the tee. The water is an ever present danger on this hole)

Number 7 (Looking from the green looking towards the tee)

Number 8 (125 yd., par 3. This is the signature, island hole, at Grand Haven. The green slopes back to front and has slopping drop-offs all around by the water. It's the #17 handicap hole - but doesn't play like it is)

Number 8 (A closer look at the green. Many golfers hit too easy and drop into the water while others hit too hard and have the same result)

Number 8 (A view of the island green and it's support wall)

Number 8 (a closer look at the wall surrounding the green)

Number 2 (450 yd,. par 5. A telephoto photo showing the green and the water which guards it)

Number 2 (A view from the tee showing the water guarding the entire left side of the fairway and green. Its a safe play to keep your tee shot on the right)
